RE: Project No. 20040-110 

Tinney Creek S.A.D. Re-dredge 

You are receiving this letter because the City of St. Petersburg has recently authorized a contractor to dredge Tinney Creek and its adjacent canals. This is a city conducted, one-time dredging project to remove siltation that may have accumulated during the construction of upstream roadway improvements. Future creek dredging will be required to be completed as a Special Assessment. You may be impacted by the dredging activities when the contractor mobilizes their equipment to Tinny Creek and when the contractor is transporting the sediment off site. The construction cost is $243,260.00. 

Construction is scheduled to commence January 2021 and complete August 2021. The construction schedule is subject to change based on weather and unforeseen conditions. 

Local access to residents should always be maintained. However, minor disruptions are inevitable, and we appreciate your patience. 

The contractor, Waterfront Property Services, LLC, dba Gator Dredging, shall notify you seven to ten days in advance of commencement of work in your area. Our contractor has been directed to make every effort to minimize any inconvenience experienced throughout the construction phase. 

The City will have a full-time construction inspector available to answer questions or address concerns in the field. Also, feel free to contact Mr. Keith Pooré, Engineering Construction Division, at (727) 892-5203.
